My baby is 3, aka no longer a baby of any sort!

So our little princess turned 3 today.  Again, sighing I say, "I can't believe how fast time goes by."  Makes you realize how precious every moment is.

A family that recently moved gave us a Barbie Jeep and hello birthday.  She loved it.  She also got lots of princess flair (slippers, bracelets and a light up ring).

We had a family water fight to end the celebrations.  All in all another great bday.

Ok, so for some reason I can't get the video to load, oh well.  Pictures are great too.

*I'm so sad my camera died on the twinners' bday.  Their bday post is pathetic compared to Brody and Ryss's.  Oh, well, we can't do everything perfect all the time!

Another Birthday...

Oh, my baby turned 7 today.  It seems like every year birthdays tear at my heart strings a little more.  It's sometimes hard to watch the kids get older.  Today just brought a rush of memories for me.  I've replayed in my mind my pregnancy, labor and delivery and several more memorable Brody moments.  I did the same of the twins recent birthday, but somehow it's been more emotional for me today.  Maybe cause Brody is the oldest.  My first mini–me.  He is such an amazing boy.  He has unfaltering faith in the Savior.  He prays often and is never ashamed to ask his Father in Heaven for help.  He said today while we sat and ate cake, "Mom you know what this means?... I can get baptized next year!"  What can I say, he a great kid and we love that he is a member of our family.  He is a great big brother!

Crazy Marrott Update

June brought birthdays, our anniversary and lots of crazy Marrott Fun!
Geoff and I celebrated 8 years of bliss (?) on June 9th.  We would never had imagined that our first 8 years together would have brought 4 amazing children with their accompanying trips to the ER and a move overseas.  It's been a crazy roller coaster filled with screams, but for the most part, life has been fantastic!
I still can't believe that my little babies, MacEwen and Daeglan, are five years old now.  There's something about 5 that is such a big step.  They had a great birthday.  They got to decorate their own cake and we had a blast of a silly string war as a family that ended it with, well tears and laughter.

I should really stop being surprised with how time flies, but again, I can't believe I just turned 28.  Reality check, I'm almost 30!  Oh well.  My birthday was quite eventful though.  Mac gave me the most unexpected present, a trip to the ER.  (Not the first time I've spent my birthday at a hospital, but a first at a British hospital and it was interesting.)  After throwing himself over the stair banister and giving himself a concussion, he is still running, climbing and jumping.  I'm not sure he learned his lesson!  Though he gave us quite a scare, he is doing fine now.  The doctor just says that we have to try and keep him contained for a few weeks.  We'll do our best.
